Human resources, also known as human capital, have always been considered the most valuable asset of any organization. Human capital is the source of thinking, planning, creativity, innovation, and the driving force behind implementing strategies and programs. According to Peter Drucker, an organization will flourish to the extent of its employees’ abilities and talents. Describing the importance and role of human capital in an organization could fill hours of discussion and hundreds of book pages.

Regarding the naming of Farvardin 25^th as National Human Resources Day, it’s worth noting that for the first time in Iran, in the 34000 Excellence Model in 1391 (2012), National Human Resources Day was proposed and gradually gained acceptance among organizations. The focus on human flourishing and excellence aligns with the main goal of the 34000 Model. This day coincides with the anniversary of commemorating the great mystic Attar of Neyshabur, who formulated the seven stages of spiritual development (the Seven Valleys in Sufism). Therefore, it was fitting to designate this day as National Human Resources Day.
