As nature rejuvenates, the world dons a new garment and the invocation of “Ya Muqallib al-Qulub wal-Absar” (O Transformer of hearts and sights) ascends to the heavens. We extend our gratitude to the Creator of the universe, who granted us another year of worship and the opportunity for life. Now, as the spring of the world and the soul align, and the first day of the New Year coincides with the peak of devotion during the blessed nights of Qadr, we humbly bow at the threshold of servitude to the Creator of all. May we fulfill the essence of worship in this unparalleled opportunity to renew the soul and purify the spirit.

The blessed nights of Qadr and the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (PBUH), at the start of the New Year, symbolize the opening of divine mercy and intercession by the Master of the Pious for the acceptance of earthly worship by the Almighty. This time, God Almighty has chosen Ali (PBUH), this model of humanity and spirituality, as an intermediary for forgiveness, to rejuvenate both the spirits of His servants and the essence of nature simultaneously. Thus, let us pray to attain nearness to God: *”O Allah, I ask You by that which You answer me when I call upon You; so answer me, O Allah.”*

While extending condolences on the anniversary of Imam Ali’s (PBUH) martyrdom—whose pure blood became a new chapter in the pursuit of justice and freedom—I also celebrate Nowruz, the national festivity of Iranians, and the convergence of the spring of nature with the Nights of Qadr. I sincerely wish a year full of love, happiness, and success for my dear colleagues, their esteemed families, and the great nation of Iran, from the divine presence of God Almighty.
