
Record-Breaking Concentrate Production: Another Success for SSMIC

According to SSMIC Public Relations, Mohammad Golipour, the Production Manager of SSMIC Concentrate Plant, announced this news, saying: “According to the company’s strategic plan, which is reviewed at the beginning of each year, specific goals are set, and we are obliged to achieve them. This is because all company components are completely interconnected, and achieving the company’s plans and goals depends on the full coordination and interaction of all units.”
He continued: “In this regard, the Concentrate Plant’s plan was developed in coordination with other units, and we managed to achieve maximum production with proper scheduling, including peak production and energy hours, as well as planning stops. In Aban this year, concentrate production exceeded 480,000 tons.”
According to Golipour, from Ordibehesht to the end of Aban this year, monthly concentrate production increased from 450,130 tons, the previous monthly production record, to 480,410 tons, which is a new record.
The Production Manager of SSMIC Concentrate Plant, noting that the company has tried to quickly execute quality production growth by managing time and special conditions and through maintenance and periods of power and gas outages, said: “Daily concentrate production in 1401 increased from 9,017 tons, in Farvardin 1403 to 19,020 tons per day.”
He pointed out that monthly concentrate production in 1402 reached 369,419 tons and announced: “The growth trend of SSMIC has always been continuous, as in Farvardin this year, monthly production increased from 320,600 tons, setting a record of 450,130 tons in Ordibehesht, and we are now witnessing a new record of 480,410 tons per month, showing a 6.8% growth compared to the previous record.”
Golipour added: “SSMIC’s Concentrate Plant is the first 5-million-ton unit concentrate plant in the east of the country, which was launched and commissioned during the sanctions period by domestic specialists.”
It is worth mentioning that this company has pellet and concentrate production plants with an annual production capacity of 10 million tons, playing a significant and strategic role in the stable supply of materials needed by the largest steelmaker in the Middle East, “Mobarakeh Steel.”
