Month-by-Month Performance Analysis

In March, pellet production reached 465,000 tons, showing a 7% growth, and in April, it reached 454,000 tons, indicating a 4% increase compared to the same period last year. This positive trend continued in subsequent months, with the highest production recorded in December at over 506,000 tons, reflecting the peak effort and capability of the company’s employees.

Record-Breaking Pellet Sales

Pellet sales in 2024 also saw significant successes. Total sales of this product reached over 3.8 million tons, showing a 34% increase compared to 2.9 million tons in the previous year. This sales initiative demonstrated SSMIC’s ability to meet customer needs. In March, sales reached 425,000 tons, showing a 52% increase compared to the previous year. Sales figures in April exceeded 491,000 tons, and these successes continued in subsequent months. Notably, sales in June exceeded 501,000 tons, and in July, over 482,000 tons were recorded.

Challenges such as energy imbalances, exchange rate fluctuations, and supply chain issues persisted. However, SSMIC experts and managers, with precise planning and necessary measures, managed these problems and continued to grow production and sales.
